Ep. 11 The Reclamation of Pleasure and Self-Expression with Rachael Maddox and Elizabeth Dialto

In this conversation, I am joined by two powerful women, Rachael Maddox and Elizabeth Dialto, as we navigate the challenges of owning our pleasure and self-expression and understanding self-regulation in the midst of trauma and overwhelm. This delightfully bantering conversation touches on visibility, the power of touch, and ways in which we can connect to our vastness.

RACHAEL MADDOX

Rachael Maddox is a trauma resolution educator, coach and guide who’s helped hundreds of women and men resolve their sexual trauma and reclaim their pleasure, power and wholeness.

In her first book, SECRET BAD GIRL, Rachael tells the story of her return to wildness, sensuality, health and embodied safety after a decade living under the trauma spell.

Her next book, SEX AFTER TRAUMA, publishes fall 2018, and is written to help people navigate life between the sheets after they’ve been through the worst of it.

On a fierce mission to help as many women as possible who’ve experienced trauma, Rachael offers one-on-one supportgroupsarticles and courses for women who are ready to dance hard with life.

If you’re new to Rachael or the territory of trauma resolution, check out this free 8-part video series, Becoming a Grown Goddess, that covers Trauma 101, Boundaries & Belonging, Sex After Trauma, and more!

Rachael’s professional training includes Alchemical Alignment Trauma Resolution & Embodiment of Spirit, The Coaches Training Institute and The Awakened Leadership Academy.

For fun, Rachael writes songs on her ukulele, swims naked as often as possible, and lays quietly under trees.

ELIZABETH DIALTO

Known for her raw, honest, and grounded approach to self help and spirituality, Elizabeth DiAlto is an Integrative Spiritual counselor, creator of Wild Soul Movement, an author, and the host of the popular Untame The Wild Soul podcast. She’s been a teacher, leader, speaker, coach and trainer to groups and individuals for 15+ years in three different industries.

Elizabeth works with women internationally through her digital programs and speaking engagements and more intimately through in-person intensives, retreats, workshops, Wild Soul Movement™ teacher training, and occasional one-on-one engagements. Her greatest mission in this life is to help those who identify as women worldwide to reclaim and redefine their own womanhood, and contribute to a new paradigm of culture where it is both safe and natural for women to love, trust, and accept themselves fully.

In 2013, Shape Magazine listed her alongside Dr Oz, Ellen, Jillian Michaels, Tim Ferriss and more as a Top 30 Motivator. She has written for and been featured in Marie Claire, New York Magazine, SELF, Shape, The Huffington Post, US News and Health Report, Yahoo! News and many more. Before developing the current work she does with women, Elizabeth was a nationally-ranked Sales Rep and District Manager for Vector Marketing (with over $1 million in sales to her credit), a certified personal trainer, group exercise instructor and nutrition coach. She’s a Reiki Master, has completed Energy Mastery trainings with Energetic Solutions, and is an avid student of many spiritual traditions and sacred lineages.

Aside from being a prolific creator and community builder, she’s an insatiable learner and a sensualist who loves spas, bathtubs, dancing (especially salsa!), reading, traveling, spending time in nature, and she has a laugh that has been described as, “a sound bath of sunshine and JOY.”
